GÜLEN ÇAÄžDAÅž; B.Arch, M.Arch, Ph.D. A graduate of İstanbul Technical University, Faculty of Architecture, has taught at the same institute since 1981. A professor since 1997, she served as the vice chair to the dean (1994-1997) and as the chair of Architectural Design (2004-2007). Is currently the department head of Informatics, coordinator of the graduate program in Architectural Design Computing, and department head of Architecture. Her main research area is architectural computing.

Currently employed at İstanbul Bilgi University as research assisstant, while continuing her graduate studies at METU.

LEMAN FİGEN GÜL; B.Arch, M.Sc., MDes.Sci., Ph.D. Received B.Arch. (1993) and M.Sc. (1996) in the Urban Conservation Program at Mimar Sinan University in İstanbul: her MDesSci (2003) in Digital Media, and Ph.D. in Architecture (2007) at the University of Sydney. Was a lecturer and tutor at the University of Sydney, and a research fellow at the University of Newcastle (Australia). Worked as associate professor at the International University of Sarajevo, before joining the TOBB Economy and Technology University in 2011. Her research interests include investigating design cognition in virtual worlds, computer-supported cooperative work, design teaching, and digital architecture and fabrication.
