MEHMET RIFAT AKBULUT; B.C.P., M.C.P., Ph.D.
Graduated from Urban and Regional Planning Department of METU (1986). Received Master in Urban Conservation in 1992 at Mimar Sinan University, İstanbul and Ph.D. in 2004 from the same university. Teaches and continues his research on urban history, urban transformation and spatial analysis, at the Urban and Regional Planning Department of the same university. SEHER BAŞLIK; B.C.P., M.C.P., Ph.D.
Graduated from Urban and Regional Planning Department of the Mimar Sinan University (1993). Received Master’s degree in Urban Planning in 2003 and Ph.D. in 2008 from the Urban and Regional Planning Department of Mimar Sinan Universityİ stanbul. GÜLEN ÇAĞDAŞ; B.Arch, M.Arch, Ph.D.
A graduate of İstanbul Technical University, Faculty of Architecture, has taught at the same institute since 1981. A professor since 1997, she served as the vice chair to the dean (1994-1997) and as the chair of Architectural Design (2004-2007). Is currently the department head of Informatics, coordinator of the graduate program in Architectural Design Computing, and department head of Architecture. HALİME DEMİRKAN; B.S., M.S., Ph.D.
Received B.S. (1978) and M.S. (1981) in Industrial Engineering and Ph.D. (1989) in Architecture from METU. Currently working as professor in the Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department at Bilkent University. Areas of interest are creativity in architectural design process, design education and human factors in computer-aided design.

ELİF ERDOĞAN; B.Arch, M.Arch.
Holds a B.Arch. from METU (2007), and an M.Arch. in Biodigital Architecture from Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (2009). Her research studies are concentrated on computational structuring of design processes by re-interpreting natural form generation. ınterests include computational and algorithmic design processes, biomimetic architecture, adaptive and interactive structures, and digital fabrication techniques. Currently employed at İstanbul Bilgi University as research assisstant, while continuing her graduate studies at METU. Received B. Arch. and M. Arch. degrees from METU Department of Architecture, Ankara, Turkey and Ph.D. Degree from University of Edinburgh, Department of Architecture, UK (1994). Currently teaching on architectural design and universal design at METU, Department of Architecture. Fields of interest are architectural theory and criticism, architectural education, architectural practice, and universal design.

ARZU GÖNENÇ SORGUÇ; B.ME, M.Sc. ME, Ph.D.
Graduated from Department of Mechanical Engineering, METU, Ankara, Turkey and received her Ph.D. from the same department. Currently employed as Associate Professor at Department of Architecture, METU, Ankara. Her research and teaching interests centre on acoustics, software technologies, environmental control and performance based design, structural systems and their design, mathematics in architecture, computational design and its technologies and computer-aided engineering (CAE) techniques and computer-aided manufacturing. LEMAN FİGEN GÜL; B.Arch, M.Sc., MDes.Sci., Ph.D.
Received B.Arch. (1993) and M.Sc. (1996) in the Urban Conservation Program at Mimar Sinan University in İstanbul: her MDesSci (2003) in Digital Media, and Ph.D. in Architecture (2007) at the University of Sydney. Was a lecturer and tutor at the University of Sydney, and a research fellow at the University of Newcastle (Australia). Worked as associate professor at the International University of Sarajevo, before joining the TOBB Economy and Technology University in 2011. Her research interests include investigating design cognition in virtual worlds, computer-supported cooperative work, design teaching, and digital architecture and fabrication. ÖZLEM KARAKUL; B.Arch, M.Sc., Ph.D.
Received B.Arch. (1998), M.Sc. in Restoration (2002), Ph.D. in Restoration (2011) at METU Department of Architecture; teaches on conservation of historic settlements and restoration of traditional buildings as Assistant Professor in the Fine Arts Faculty at Selçuk University.
