Anıl Şenyel Kürkçüoğlu is an associate professor of urban planning at Middle East Technical University (METU) in Ankara, Turkey. She holds a Ph.D. in City and Regional Planning from The Ohio State University (2013), and Master’s and Bachelor's degrees in City and Regional Planning from METU. Anıl’s research and professional interests include Geographic Information Systems, urban infrastructure, fuel poverty, and sustainability in urban planning
