Graduated from Eastern Mediterranean University in 1997; received her master degree from İstanbul Technical University, Building Science programme (2000). Completed her Ph.D. in the History of Architecture programme (ITU; 2008), with thesis titled “Urbanization and Architecture in Cyprus as an Example of Colonial Modernization (1878-1960)”. Worked as part-time instructor in the Department of Interior Architecture at EMU from 2001 to 2007 and as Senior Lecturer at the Department of Architecture of Girne American University from 2007 to 2009.
