Received her BSc and MSc in film studies from Ege University, Communication Faculty (1997- 2005). Earned her Ph.D degree in film studies from Media Arts Department, University of London, Royal Holloway College (2011). She is an associate professor and also the Vice Dean at the Faculty of Architecture, İzmir Institute of Technology
