Received B.Arch. (1993) and M.Sc. (1996) in the Urban Conservation Program at Mimar Sinan University in İstanbul: her MDesSci (2003) in Digital Media, and Ph.D. in Architecture (2007) at the University of Sydney. Was a lecturer and tutor at the University of Sydney, and a research fellow at the University of Newcastle (Australia). Worked as associate professor at the International University of Sarajevo, before joining the TOBB Economy and Technology University in 2011. Her research interests include investigating design cognition in virtual worlds, computer-supported cooperative work, design teaching, and digital architecture and fabrication
