Received her B.A. in Business Administration and M.A. in History of Art and Architecture at Boğaziçi University (İstanbul). Areas of research interest are history of architecture and visual culture, transformations in the Ottoman cultural world, the new architectural vocabulary, and changing patronage patterns in eighteenth-century İstanbul.
