Received B.A in Architecture 1989, M.A. in History of Architecture 1991 at METU Faculty of Architecture and PhD degree in Art History from SUNY Binghampton University, 1999. Research interests include 19th and 20th century architecture, modern architecture, architecture in late Ottoman Empire and Republican Turkey, social production of the built environment, architectural historiography.
