Retired lecturer. Received her B.Arch from Ankara State Academy of Engineering and Architecture and master’s degree in restoration from Middle East Technical University (METU). Earned her PhD. degree from Restoration Programme of METU in 1994. Her research explores the historic preservation, as well as planning issues related to urban and rural environments in Turkey.
