Received her bachelor’s degree in architecture from Dokuz Eylül University (1990-1994). She earned her Msc (1994-1996) and Ph.D (1997-2002) degrees in architecture from Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences at Dokuz Eylül University. Major research interests include environmental psychology, urban and public open spaces and sustainable architecture.
