Received her bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Dokuz Eylül University (1986-1990). She earned her Msc and Ph.D degrees in architecture from Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences in Dokuz Eylül University in 1993 and 1998 respectively. Major research interests include post-occupancy evaluations of multi-purpose buildings, public outdoor spaces, basic design and education-creativity relations, and architecture-environment relations.
