Graduated from METU, Department of Architecture in 1984. Completed Ph.D in Gazi University, Department of Architecture in 1992. Became an assistant professor in this school, in the area of building science in 1993. Working for Eastern Mediterranean University, Department of Architecture since 1998. Became associate professor in 2007 and professor in 2013.
