METU Journal of the Faculty of Architecture is an international peer reviewed academic journal, published in June and December.
METU JFA invites original research articles which demonstrate significant novelty by encouraging critical and reflective thinking on the following fields: architecture, planning, urban design, urban studies, cultural heritage studies, building technologies, and product, system, service and experience design. Manuscripts are welcome either in English or Turkish languages.
Articles which have been published previously or that are under consideration for publication elsewhere should not be submitted to METU JFA.
The Editorial Board claims no responsibility for the opinions expressed in the published manuscripts.

All submissions are subject to a double-blind peer-review process.
Inappropriate submissions will be desk rejected. These include manuscripts that focus on a too narrow local context or case with limited transferability of findings; manuscripts with poor language quality; and the translation of previously published work.
Manuscripts submitted to the journal for publication should conform to the format outlined in the Author Guidelines. Submissions that are not in conformity with the journal guidelines will be returned to the author(s).
