She is an architect who has experience in teaching, research and architectural practice. She has a PhD in Architecture from the University of Nottingham and Master of Urban Design from Izmir Institute of Technology. Her research is focused on urban architecture, public place, environmental psychology and also earthquake resistant urban environments.
