Received his B.Arch (2000); M.Sc.(2002) and PhD (2008) in building science from Middle East Technical University, Department of Architecture. Primary research interests include earthquake resistant architectural design, structural systems in architecture, architectural design with respect to Turkish Earthquake Code, structural education in architecture.
